World Vs World Vs World (WvWvW) - is a mix of PvP with lots of PvE elements in it, that pits THREE servers against each other in a battle for control of resources. The servers reset every week, and they are never down in that period... so it's a Week Long battle!Every 15 minutes, the structures controlled by each world are totalled and added to that world's cumulative score. The aim of WvW is to achieve a higher war score than the opposing worlds by the end of a week of battle.
Each server has it's own world, known as Borderlands. There is also a Free For All World, for the taking called Eternal Battlegrounds, which sits in the middle.
Aside from killing other players, there are massive castle sieges involved and of course that means siege weapons.
Why do it? Appart from being huge fun to run around with an army of people from your own server, simply put, the more a server controls, the more everyone on your server benefits in PVE and PvP, the higher the score the more these percentages go up! Take a look for yourself!
Artisan: 2-3% increased chance of crafting critical success. Up to a Max of 20%
Defender: 1-2% increased defense against monsters. Up to a Max of 10%
Energetic: 1-2% endurance regeneration bonus. Up to a Max of 10%

To get into a WvW Borderland:
WvW is designed to accommodate players that would not normally participate in PvP. For instance, the high player limit means that a new player can get involved without immediately feeling pressured to contribute. In addition, objectives are available for a variety of group sizes, so players don't need to be members of dedicated guilds in order to be productive.
Basics
What to do in WvW
Listen to thy Commander
Usually in WvW there will be one or several commanders in map chat telling people where they are needed. If you want to be part of the massive zergs, it's good to listen to the directions provided by commanders.
Kill Dolyak Supply Caravans and capture supply camps
Supply is vital for repairing a battered fortress and building siege equipment, so a big part of the strategy of WvW is controlling these supply camps.
Killing Dolyaks is easy enough but be cautious as enemy players might be escorting them.
At supply camps there is a Veteran Quartermaster guarding, who has a invulnerability buff, you should only attack him when that buff wears of him!
Look for battles
These are usually shown as crossed swords on both your minimap and world map, and usually indicates someone is fighting there.
These are the best places for massive 300 vs 300 vs 300 battles...it's crazy stuff and will push your computer to it's limits.
NPC's can be friends
There is plenty of PvE content on a WvW map that helps your server hold positions. Just like in the real world, these are shown with the big orange circle.
MORE TO COME...STILL WRITING! XD
- Press B (default) to open WvW statistics, then at the top select which world you wish to enter.

Basics
- The color of your world for the week is the color of the bar at the top of your screen. This is the color of the nodes on the map that you control also.
- The bar shows the Score so far, the time till the next tally and how much supply you are carrying.
- Supply is used to build siege weapons and repair walls. It can be picked up in keeps and supply camps. Supply can run out, which is why it is important to protect supply camps and supply caravans.
- If you die, you will have to either be resurrected or you have to use the nearest waypoint.
- You can't break walls without a siege weapon. These can be bought for coin at your home waypoint within the Borderland.
- Siege weapons vary in usage, for example, arrow carts and cannons are very effective against clustered enemies, ballista at destroying enemy siege equipment, and trebuchets for breaking down doors and walls. There are even War Golems!
